Shopcade

Shopcade is an app I've recently stumbled across and it seems like a really great way to keep track of what you have in your wardrobe. Since I've been on the look out for what items to add to my growing collection, I feel like it will really help me manage what I have and haven't got.

The app allows you to make lists and once you've made those lists, you can add (I'm guessing) any item available on internet shopping sites. Things I own, Things I love and Gifts I Want  are lists already set up. You simply have to search for an item and then, select which list you want to place it in. Eg. If I search for Asos Ridley Jeans, 101 results appear. I know it'll help me to budget and sort out what I really want to buy, from the things I like but don't want. Plus with all these sales going on, I don't wanna over spend, or impulse buy and regret it later.

There's more to it if you want to check it out!

Depop & Etsy

If you don't know what Depop is, it's a free app that's literally Ebay on your mobile. I set up an account selling my mother and I's jewellery along with other bits and bobs. It's so quick and easy, though I warn you the shopaholic in you will cry everyday...everyday.
Search 'kerrlycoppers' under the users section to check out our items.
We also opened an Etsy shop solely for selling our handmade jewellery. Again just search 'kerrlycoppers' on Etsy
or
click this link kerrlycoppers.etsy.com

Metallic and holographic

Holographic shoes from Office Shoes on Ebay. I've been after some slip ons for ages and after an unsuccessful bud on Ebay I found these and decided to get them.

Found this metallic nail vanish from Primark laying around the house. Thought it matched the shoes perfectly.

DIY Peace Sign Top

When I saw this top in the charity shop, I knew that I wanted to DIY it and I knew exactly how I'd go about doing it. Cut off the sleeves, making it sleeveless and redoing the peace sign.

Tools used:
Left - Toothpicks
Middle - White Fabric Paint
Right - (Don't know name we'll just call it "blue pick")

I used the blue pick to undo the stitching around the sleeves.

You might be able to tell from the first picture the peace sign is really faint. I wanted to make it stand out more so I decided to go over the lines individually with a toothpick. I placed a piece of cardboard between the front and back of the top so the paint wouldn't seep through.
Close up, no paint on.

Started painting, see the difference?

Finished.
I might tuck the sleeves under to make it neater but I don't mind it how it is now.

(Not a tutorial)
